Scope included all SIL assessed safety functions that were being migrated from an obsolete (HIMA) to a new (Emersons Delta V SIS Charms) safety system. Consultant utilized VB scripting to provide a more consistent proof test development methodology. First created templates for unique architecture configurations and then validated them to client format preferences. Utilized the VB merging to complete all duplicates. Overall process was considerably faster and more customizable than either "Excel/Word" mergers or proprietary software.
